This has really annoyed me - if people want to protest about global issues, the climate etc etc then I'm not against that but what gives these people the right to destroy private property?
I was absolutely appalled at those 'protesters' who were jumping on the boundary fence in the woods to break it down! What kind of message does that give out?
I know what you mean - I have demonstrated many times and never felt the need to injure anyone or harm any property. I am unsure what they actually want (climate protesters) they don't seem to have any answer to our need for power but they still want "change". I will be honest in the past I protested against nuclear power but I have come round to thinking the safe guards seem to be in place and in a world where we increasingly need electricity nuclear power could be the answer. Perhaps they should sit down and have a really good think about the problem and how to solve it rather than blindly go on doing damage.
