I used FIFA 08 on my PS2 to play all these matches itself, i set it to "World Class" level and this is what happened...

Some strange results there, particularly the Portugal/Turkey match...but what if this really works???

So i've put £5 on France and £5 on Italy who i think will win it thereby putting my money where my mouth is...anyone else having a flutter?

I wont be having a flutter on it, i cant really stand footy anyway and without England in it i cant be bothered at all

I want Spain and think they should win it because they have played well throughout although it wouldn't suprise me if Germany do because they have been very lucky so far.

I wonder if the fact that England did not qualify has any baring on the
fact that no trouble from the supporters either inside the ground or
outside, was reported throughout the whole tournament.
