Running out of money already are they?     They started the circus before and after her death, I really don't think they can claim 'breach of privacy' now

Quote:
The family of Jade Goody is suing Mirror Group Newspapers for up to £100,000 over the publication of a picture of her burial in the People.

Seven people, including Goody's mother and grandparents, claim the image, published on 5 April, was an invasion of privacy and a breach of confidence.

The group are also suing the picture agency NewsPics.

Trinity Mirror, owner of Mirror Group Newspapers, declined to comment. Goody died in March from cervical cancer.

The BBC also left a message with NewsPics asking for a comment, but the agency has yet to respond.

Reality TV fame

Goody's funeral was a very public affair, with thousands of people turning out to see the procession, which travelled through London before reaching Buckhurst Hill in Essex.

The ceremony was then relayed to members of the public on huge screens and speakers outside St John's Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex.

The picture published in the Sunday tabloid, however, showed a group of mourners at Goody's burial, which was a private event.

More pictures were taken at the graveside but were not published.

Goody's mother, Jackiey Budden, and her maternal grandparents, Sylvia and John Caddock, are among the group of seven seeking an injunction banning Mirror Group Newspapers and NewsPics from republishing or processing the pictures.

They also want them to hand over the photographs in question and any copies.

Goody became famous after appearing in the third series of Channel 4's Big Brother in 2002.
