This is my step-mum's son-in-law's sister and nephew

Quote:
A woman and a teenager have escaped from a fire at a house in Nottingham.

Crews were called to Shacklock Close in Rise Park in the early hours of the morning and found the property well alight.

An investigation has begun but it is believed the flames spread from a car on the driveway of the property.

Fire officers said the woman and her 16-year-old son fled through the back door but the roof and top bedroom of the house have been destroyed.

Looking at that they were very very lucky - it will take a while to get over the shock for them do they have somewhere to stay ?

Their insurance company are paying for them to stay in a hotel until they can find somewhere to rent but they have a lot of family in the area and are members of a local church who will help out

Kelsey's husband was away at the time, although he's back now, and their eldest son was working nights so there is plenty of support for both of them

That's great - it's wonderful when people come together and help.
