Loved the wooden tops ! When I was little my Granddad crushed his hand at work and had about 6 months off work, I loved watching watch with mother with him and then he would watch the afternoon news while Nan got me washed and ready to go out, and he would walk me up the round and around and about to go and meet the farm cats and the donkey down the road we would end up feeding the nanny goats tied at the side of the road on the way back.
Thank you Pam for reminding me by posting the watch with mother link that was a lovely memory to bring to the surface
