Coldplay dump Kylie duetSource DS
Coldplay have revealed that they recorded a track with Kylie Minogue for their new album.
However, Chris Martin confessed that the indie band's sessions with the Aussie popstar ended up missing the cut for the their fourth LP Viva La Vida.
Speaking to Q, Martin said: "Kylie is awesome. She’s like Girls Aloud rolled into one."
Commenting on their duet, the singer added: "I took the song apart. Like a Corby trouser press. It’s now one of those half-finished models in a garage."
Coldplay covered Minogue's single 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' during their headline performance at Glastonbury 2005.
Viva La Vida is released in June.
