Doherty case sent to crown court

Cheltenham Magistrates' Court referred the Babyshambles frontman's case to Gloucester Crown Court.
Doherty, 30, will also be sentenced in the crown court for two heroin possession charges and two other driving offences.
The star was arrested in Gloucester in June after a gig in the city. He has yet to plead on a drink-driving charge.
Doherty, of Durley, Wiltshire, has admitted the drug charges, driving without insurance and driving without a correct licence.
He was released on conditional bail until 2 October. |
