Ground forceDid anyone actually watch this, and if any blokes want to answer this i mean watch it for the gardening not Charlie Dimmock? 21.gif
Charlie Dimmock has said that she doesn't want gardening makeover show Ground Force to be brought back.
The presenter said that garden shows have changed since the programme started in 1998 and that she doesn't fancy re-uniting with fellow hosts Tommy Walsh and Alan Titchmarsh for a final series.
She told DS: "I still get letters now from some people, saying 'Can Ground Force come back?' But we're all too old. Just don't tell Alan I said that!
"Tommy and me worked the last two series, but then we said 'That's it'. The problem was that we had a budget we had to stick to for the cost of the garden and there's only so many new products that come onto the market each year, so after 14 series, I think we'd done enough."
Talking about the effect Ground Force has on the general public, she added: "People realise now that if there's a space outside their back door it can be useful and it's not just the place where you keep the rubbish and the washing line. I think gardening shows have moved on."
Ground Force's last series was aired in July 2005

I didn't mind this - i liked the way they could do it so quickly. I can't believe it was 2005 though when it ended.
