PanoramaDid anyone watch this tonight (19Th Oct) about racism?
A asian couple stayed somewhere for 8 weeks with hidden cameras and they were beaten up, harrassed, threatened and all sorts, i actually found it really disturbing and just couldnt believe the way they were treated

I saw the last few minutes - quite depressing !
Not in any way defending the actions of the thugs but the few minutes I saw did raise a question in my mind. When the Pakistani gentleman walked down the road I thought he acted pretty oddly if I was walking down the road and saw those thugs (who were obviously known to him at that point) I would have crossed the road and walked down the other pavement, I certainly would never have engaged them in conversation questioning what they had said. Again I do not defend what was said I just thought he made the situation far worse for himself
