Yes it could well be that, I can't imagine how these people's minds work. I have been seriously shocked on some forums with the number of people defending Roman Polanski recently too - some very odd and worrying ideas some people have !

I know I seriously hope the people supporting him never see their daughters meet a man like him, we supported Tasha instantly imagine trying to convince a parent with those views you were raped and didn't consent !

I have to admit that the only thing I knew about Roman Polanski was that his wife, Sharon Tate, was murdered when she was heavily pregnant. I didn't know that he had been on the run since pleading quilty to the rape of a 13 year old 30 years ago

I have now read the accounts of what he did to that 13 year old girl and IMO he definitely is a monster and needs to be locked up for the rest of his life

I can remember a year or so after he went on the run he gave an interview in it he said what he did was normal and what normal red blooded man would not **** a young girl if they had a chance.
To me he is a paedophile plain and simple only his fame has saved him so far.

at first i wasnt sure whether hed actually raped her or if they had sex with each other (in which obviously wouldnt have been rape) but after reading about exactly what happened it is most definitly rape and deserves to be locked up no matter how famous he is or how many years ago it happened
