I used to watch it years ago and then i stopped when it went to hour long episodes but i have really got back into it lately

I watched up until Tosh (think that was his name) left. Haven't seen it since.

Yes I believe he did - sad because he had young children at the time too.

i watch the bill have done for ages i even have dvd's of the first about 20 episodes that were aired in 1984/85 including Woodentop. :) yes Kevin Lloyd who played Alfred "Tosh" Lines did died in real life because he was an alcoholic.
