The Wrestling Topic

What's everyone's opinions on wrestling? Which do you watch? Who's your favourite wrestler?

I watch WWE and TNA. I think lately it's been better than it has for a while mainly because of William Regal as General Manager and Ron Simmons is just hilarious...

Nice one Luca..we used to have a wrestling thread but it got lost in the prune.

My son is an avid Hardcore wrestling fan..has been for years, follows his dad.....they watch all promotions, from WWE, TNA , 1PW, ROH, Celtic wresling (See the pic of him and Jonny Storm in our Gallery)...I could be here all day.

I used to watch myself but just don't get the time to keep up with it all anymore but i still have a huge respect fro the guys and gals of the wrsetling world.

The death Of Chris Benoit and his family was A great tragedy.

In the past there seemed to be longer spaces of time between the Events which made them more special...but now there's an event almost every week which takes the Event Atmosphere away .

I think Cena and Batista are overrated, they can't really wrestle because they're so big from steroids and they're limited...

The current best wrestlers to watch have to be... Matt and Jeff Hardy. Or maybe Umaga, he's a great worker.

I have to say I agree with you on the Hardy Boys Luca...I much prefer the smaller wrestlers, they are just so much more Agile and more daring and therefore more Entertainig to watch.....But I cannot agree on John Cena Though. yah.gif

Teddy Hart
AJ Styles
Low-Ki

And Triple H is very much overrated.

I used to watch wrestling my favories were The Undertaker and The Funk Bros. The Funk Bros were so mean I saw them snatch a metal folding chair out from under an old lady and smash someone's head in. It was real because I saw blood. I used to think that wrestling was fake until I saw that. yah5.gif

I wish more people realised it isn't and gave these athletes the respect they deserve for the punishment they inflict on their bodies just to entertain us.

I was talking to a friend about it today and he said he thinks the steel chairs are plastic. :roll:

I gained a huge respect for them when i watched Tough Enough, They have such enormous dedication to the Sport.

It could be Elijah Burke because he has something that says 4-up. And the clue was "Things are looking up"... four words, including the up...
