X - factorYawn yawn
Sharon Osbourne has quit her role as an X Factor judge due to an ongoing feud with Dannii Minogue, reports thelondonpaper.
Osbourne was allegedly heard telling Fearne Cotton at the Brits that she was giving up the show.
A TV insider revealed: "She works hard and cares about her acts, but it's a tough schedule and she has found it wearing working with Dannii in the last series."
Minogue revealed her disappointment with Osbourne after her fellow judge failed to congratulate her when two of her artists, Leon Jackson and Rhydian Roberts, secured the top two spots on the show.
The Australian singer has chosen to avoid joining the show's nationwide tour as she doesn't want to do it with Osbourne.
Osbourne admitted in a TV interview that she was unhappy with Minogue as a judge, saying: "Dannii knows she's there because of her looks, not because of her contribution to the music industry

Sharon Osbourne has demanded a higher salary for the next series of X Factor.
After hitting the headlines for her controversial behaviour at the Brits, the outspoken judge has told Simon Cowell that she will only return to the talent show if he makes it worth her while.
Cowell had hoped that he could get Sharon back for a lower price as a result of her disappointing performance on last year's series. Osbourne admitted that she was a "terrible mentor" after all of her acts had been eliminated by week five of the competition. She was also criticised for storming off the programme and clashing with fellow judge Dannii Minogue.
However, Osbourne now believes that she is in a position to negotiate a pay rise after hosting Wednesday night's Brit Awards.
"Until the Brits, Simon thought he had the upper hand and could dictate terms to Sharon. He wanted her back but he thought she needed the show more than it needed her," a source told the Daily Star Sunday. "Now Sharon has other ideas. It has become an almighty battle of wills.
"Both Simon and Sharon are digging their heels in and, at the moment, it's difficult to see which way it's going to go."

Dannii Minogue has been given a pay rise by X Factor boss Simon Cowell.
The Aussie singer was the most successful mentor on last year's series, with the final two acts - Leon Jackson and Rhydian Roberts - both coming from her 'Boys' category.
"Dannii will get a pay rise this time," Cowell told The Mirror. "They usually do after the second series - plus she deserves it."
Simon confirmed that Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh have also been offered new contracts. However, he admitted that he has not yet spoken to Sharon about rumours that she wants to quit the show - and does not know if she will agree to return.
"Sharon is a handful, but she's what makes the show interesting," he explained. "If someone doesn't want to come back then that's their decision. I'm not going to get into this whole firing thing again after last time."
Cowell also claimed that tension between Sharon and Dannii had provided "great viewing" last year.
"Backstage was the real show - my God, yes," he added. "If they had cameras down there it would be, without doubt, the best show on TV.
"If they both return next series they will have dressing rooms at opposite ends of the corridor and I am buffering them in the middle. But if a fight broke out who knows who would win? I wouldn't like to guess!"

Why is everything getting moved to sunday nights?
Source DS
X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue have requested more cash from ITV.
The trio reportedly asked for an increase in their salaries after learning that the X Factor results show is likely to be moved to Sunday nights when the fifth series returns later this year. The change would see the panellists working over two consecutive nights each week.
While Simon Cowell has a £20 million three-year deal with ITV, Sharon, Louis and Dannii have been busy negotiating their new deals.
"We are working everything through now and just waiting to dot the Is and cross the Ts," a source told The Sun. "We're very nearly there, but now that the judges have heard about the new show they want a bit more cash. And once one asks, then the rest of them ask. We'll get there in the end."
