I did say I wouldn't watch Andy Murray after his anti-English rant the other year  nono.gif

However, I did see some of it and even I have to admit he made a brilliant comeback

He now faces Nadal in the quarter final

I must admit his rant the other year has turned a lot of brits against him and i think his comments were outrageous but hes soon started relying on the english to cheer him on now hasnt he?

I cant see him beating Nadal but it would be nice to see a brit get into the semis

exactly spiruthunter.

Mind you we still have our 14 year old girl in the semis of the under 18's and she hasnt dropped a set yet

And Jamie murray is still in the mixed doubles and trying to defend his title

Laura Robson did well today and in front of a good crowd. The weather tomorrow is not looking good, just hope any disruption does not prevent Nedal taking the championship.

I am so pleased that he has got where he is, now finish it off Rafa

I am so glad Nedal won this

Quote:
The Wimbledon men's singles final drew a peak audience of 12.7m for BBC One  as the channel cleared its schedule for the five-set finish.

The match, in which Rafael Nadal beat Roger Federer, was delayed several times because of rain, meaning that BBC One's total coverage lasted from 1.30pm to 9.30pm. The show's average audience was an impressive 7.4m (38.8%), with a peak share of 45% coming in the 15 minutes from 9pm.
